Ian, I am your father |
I am VERY pleased to present my son, Ian! Born at 10:15am on October 20th, 2006. Ian was born 9 pounds 4 ounces!
You know the cliche new fathers and mothers say: “You can’t describe the feeling”. Well, that’s pretty much all I can say about seeing my son born. I am so lucky to have been able to be there for my wife and to share in that experience.
I can’t express the amount of respect and love I felt for my wife during this process. It was not an easy birth, but both my wife and our baby were amazing!
We are now back home, and my wife and son are doing well.
I’ve taken three weeks off (1 vacation and 2 parental leave) to get to know Ian and to begin our new life together.
This is Ian Vadneau:

This was way too funny - fight the power!

The proud papa:

Congratulations Derek!
Being a dad is indeed a wonderful thing. My wife and I are expecting our second child any day now, as well. Anxious… waiting…
Congratulations! Where’s his hockey stick? The lessons begin now! (After you get some sleep . . . . )
Holy head of hair! No paternity test required here if my hunch is correct: I expect that Ian’s hair will not move no matter what the situation.
You and Chantal are going to be great parents. Woohoo!
We are so thrilled for you both. What a beautiful little boy! Look forward to meeting him someday soon. Take care and all the best in your new life as proud parents.
Congratulations Derek!
I wish you all the best for your new life
Put pleaasse keep him away from that Vanilla Coke at least for the first months
Congratulations Derek and Chantal!! He really is a cute little guy.
Get some sleep and we’ll see you guys later.
Congratulations, you just made me break out my 2 1/2 year old’s baby pics. Take your time and enjoy it all, cause they grow like weeds. (weeds you want to keep around)
Congratulations! Where’s his hockey stick? The lessons begin now! (After you get some sleep . . . . )
