My name is Derek Vadneau.

I am an Electronic Technologist turned programmer. I always loved messing around with electronics, then found I had a passion for logic and programming. Assembly was fun because it was a great mix of logic and electronics.

Moving from electronics to web development I discovered Flash. Drawing and computer art were favourite passtimes of mine and found a nice home with Flash. I have been working with Flash since version 4 and began seriously coding in Flash 5 and MX.

I currently work for Northcode Inc. in Flash development and product support. I love the combination of Flash and the desktop and am grateful to have a part in such a compelling product.
